I am getting an error while installing or trying to update
We do our best to provide stable software, but bugs do occur. Generally, a quick re-installation using the latest installers will resolve the error.
You can also check the troubleshooting pages for Motion, Boombox, and Wander.
Do you offer a trial or test version of your tools?
Mt. Mograph does not currently offer trial software. We are confident you’ll love our plugins, and the value they provide your work.
Can I use your software when I do not have an internet connection?
Mt. Mograph software works offline for a period of 7-days. When the offline duration expires a fast license re-verification resets the offline limit. If you’re offline a longer duration, you should take time off your computer and enjoy nature.
Can I still use the old Motion 2 script?
If you are using legacy Adobe software like CS3-CS6, the old script version of Motion may work, but is out of date. We no longer provide the old installer and hope you’ll use the more improved builds. We recommend the 7-year upgraded Motion (v4) available as an Adobe Extension.
Using Boombox, how do I share audio files between projects and different workstations?
There are a couple methods to share audio files added using Boombox plugin:
- Boombox has Auto-Sync feature that will auto-update file paths between workstations. Sharing audio files will be seamless and worry free.
- You can enable Relative Import on the Boombox > Menu > Interface screen. This option will save your sound effect files to your project folder. When you share your project, you can then package the audio files with the rest of your project folder.
- With native Adobe tools you can export media dependencies.
In Premiere go to File > Project Manager > Collect All Files and Transfer to New Location
Or, in After Effects you can go to File > Dependencies > Collect Files
How many installations am I allowed with my license key?
At checkout a quantity called “seats” is available on each product. The quantity of licenses purchased, sets the “limit” of concurrent users on the license.
You can also manage active seats and move between workstations with Remote Login/Out.
I lost my license key, where can I find it again?
To recover your license Key fast, please use our License Recovery form for quick support.
I am using Motion 2, can I upgrade to Motion 4 for free or do I have to buy it again?
Trade in your old Motion 2 license, for a special 50% discount upgrade to Motion 4, or the Ultimate Bundle. Please contact us so we can help you personally.
