Annual saves roughly 15%. Monthly is $13/seat/month. Annual works out to $11/seat/month ($132/year).
Yes, you can switch at any time to an annual subscription. Just contact us if you would like to switch.
We transitioned to subscriptions in 2024. Existing Motion 2, Motion 3 and Motion 4 lifetime licenses still work for that version. Motion Studio is subscription-only.
Subscriptions let us ship monthly releases with new features and compatibility updates. We've shipped major updates every month since launching Motion Studio, driven by community feedback on Futures .
Motion Studio is the complete animation toolkit. The Ultimate Bundle adds Boombox Studio (sound design + audio library) and Wander (internet media search and import). If your workflow involves audio or sourcing stock media, the bundle is better value. For animation only, Motion Studio covers it.
