The September Release brings SFX Variations, Similar Sounds and Dynamic Packs to Boombox Studio, plus new options in the Motion Studio Snapshot and Align tools.
Boombox Studio
⩥ New: SFX Variations
Create variations from any sound using Pitch, Reverb, Delay, Mood, Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, Distortion, Chorus and Gain controls, so every sound fits your project. Trim and Fade the result to your liking.
⩥ New: Similar Sounds
Right click any sound and hit "Similar Sounds". Boombox Studio opens a new tab with a list of sounds close to the one you picked, shown in the same list view you already work in. Useful to explore the library for sounds similar in duration, tone, and texture.
⩥ New: Dynamic Packs
Link any folder on your computer to a User Pack, and Boombox Studio will keep it in sync. Add sounds to the folder and the pack updates live, no re-importing!
⩥ New: Cue and Swap in DaVinci Resolve
Two very useful tools for sound design just landed for Resolve (both free and Studio versions). "Cue" adds a sound after the selected sound, and lines up the cue points. "Swap" swaps the selected sound, keeping the sound's cue point at the same time.
Motion Studio
⩥ Auto Crop in Snapshot
Crop your snapshot to the bounds of the selected layers, or to all layers with nothing selected.
⩥ Align Tool Options
The "Ignore Text Animators" option keeps animated Text in place when aligning. The new keyframe option adds the default After Effects behavior which adds a keyframe at the CTI when you Align.

Texture tool. User textures work correctly again.
