Boombox (Food Matter)

And another one (not-so-subtle DJ Khaled reference) — a brand new sound pack is here for Boombox. The library is now over 1,400 sounds and growing!

One of the least expected, but really nice audio is stuff being sliced, diced and generally prepared in the kitchen. With our experiments we found that the audio worked amazing for small UI elements, and chatters in animations.

Isaac Brockshus (composer extraordinaire for Boombox) created these sounds with carrots, potatoes, grapes, knives, and steam. This pack has a super organic and thoughtful feeling.

Bon appetite and we hope you enjoy the steaming hot Food Matter pack — whet your appetite with a buffet of bites, breaks and pours representing a variety of foods. And don't limit your self to what's edible; these sounds can also lend an organic feel to other onscreen elements.

In our initial art direction talks with the great Jamie Givens (of GVNZ Studio) talks we imagined a more still life scene.
